Breeze provides a strong yet compassionate voice for his clients. He has built an impeccable reputation as a hybrid attorney, with extensive experience as both a zealous litigator as well as a shrewd negotiator.

He has established a dynamic name for himself as a fierce, persistent, and highly effective Criminal Defense attorney, however his legal proficiency extends much further than the Criminal Law arena. In a result-oriented business, Breeze takes great pride in consistently achieving his client’s desired outcome in Criminal Law matters, complex Civil Disputes, Personal Injury cases, Family Law matters and much more. Staying true to his International Law background, he has also attained comprehensive experience in asserting transnational property rights, negotiating settlements, and addressing conflict of law issues in South America, Central America, as well as the Caribbean. While specializing has become the norm within the legal profession, Breeze goes against the grain and emphasizes his versatility in order to protect his client’s diverse interests. This is why he puts a premium on effectively maintaining an expansive practice that encompasses a personalized approach in conjunction with a diverse myriad of legal concentrations, including:

    • Criminal Law
    • Expunction of Criminal Records
    • DUI (Driving Under the Influence)
    • Traffic Law Violations
    • License Suspension Appeals
    • Juvenile Delinquency
    • Family Law
    • International Law
    • Incompetency & Guardianship
    • Child Support
    • Abuse, Neglect, & Dependency
    • Wills, Trusts, & Probate
    • Personal Injury
    • Contract Law
    • Credit Matters
    • Property Law
    • Landlord/Tennant Disputes
    • Administrative Law
    • Defamation
    • Discrimination

Breeze’s ability to handle a wide array of cases helps enable Mills & Alcorn to compete with much larger law firms. However, it is his personalized and intimate methodology that clients find appealing. It takes an individualized approach to achieve the appropriate results for each respective client. Determining the best legal course of action depends on the specifics of a case and an individual’s circumstances. That is why it is imperative that a legal advocate takes the time to really connect and effectively communicate with clients. However, it is also extremely important to gain the respect and to develop a great rapport with prosecutors, judges, clerks, and opposing attorneys in order to ensure the best possible results. Breeze has garnered the trust and respect of his colleagues and judicial officers based not only on his bold and innovative litigation and settlement approaches but also through his personable and professional manner. It is this ability to effectively communicate with clients as well as other legal professionals that epitomizes the very principles that Breeze has founded his practice upon.

Born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina, Breeze graduated from East Carolina University before receiving his Juris Doctor from Loyola New Orleans College of Law. At Loyola, he studied International Law, Civil Code Law, Comparative Law, and European Union (EU) Institutional Law not only at Loyola’s campus in New Orleans, Louisiana but also at affiliated Civil Law institutions in Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic and Costa Rica as well as through Loyola’s seminar/tour of the principal institutions of the EU in Belgium, Luxembourg, and France. Moreover, he served as a research assistant in Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras for his International Law professor and earned Loyola’s prestigious Certificate in International Legal Studies. For his final semester of law school, Breeze transferred to Temple University Beasley School of Law and completed his graduation requirements at the law school’s satellite campus in Tokyo, Japan. Additionally, he served as a legal researcher for the Japan Times. After graduation, Breeze traveled to Belize as a contributor for the Japan Times and coauthored a series of articles addressing human rights and environmental violations that adversely impacted the Maya peoples and their traditional territories. Afterwards, Breeze returned home to Greenville and cofounded The Law Offices of Alcorn & Haggard in early 2011. Subsequently, in the summer of 2013, he branched out to form The Law Firm of Breeze L.
